DIRECTOR - HEAD OF STORY - STORY ART

My name is Alan Huynh, and I’ve been working in the animation industry for 10 years as a Head of Story, Director, and Storyboard Artist for various projects. Currently, I am working on “Sky: The Two Embers” as their Head of Story, and also teaching storyboarding fundamentals on my YouTube channel, ALANHUYNHWORKS.

My ethos as a storyteller is to inspire empathy and connection, and I’ve been lucky to work on many projects that align with that mission. Whether it’s on a sci-fi action show like “Final Space” for TBS, or the Miyazaki-esque, whimsical world of “Sky: The Two Embers”, I always look for ways to bring these principles to the table while meeting unique, new challenges.

After my many years of experience in the industry, my love for the medium and need to give back to the industry by helping existing and future creatives drove me to start a YouTube channel where I teach and explore different facets of this craft, while also expressing my love for filmmaking through the process of creating these videos.
